What We’re Doing
To extend the impact of our work, we founded Spindrift Images Foundation, a nonprofit using film, education, and strategic outreach to protect ocean wildlife and ecosystems. We hope to inspire people to act in support of animal welfare, biodiversity, and wilderness conservation.
Our current impact campaign turns The Right Whale: Tales of Resilience and Hope into action.
With your support, we are:
Bringing the film to key audiences: Hosting targeted screenings, including a US Congressional screening, to inspire action where it matters most.
Driving policy change: Working alongside leading NGOs to defend the Marine Mammal Protection and Endangered Species Acts and push for whale-safe fishing gear and stronger ship speed limits.
Educating the public: Creating educational content to help people take meaningful action for whales.
Amplifying the whales’ voices: Producing short shareable videos to spread awareness far beyond the film’s release.
Empowering communities: Work with local communities to engage the next generation of ocean advocates.
